Musical Mania

My son, Julian, loves music and loves playing in his own band. So I came up with an idea of hosting a musical playdate in my home and invited our PALS. We made several instruments, played in a band, and danced to different music.

Miss A* was decorating her tambourine.

They also made Maracas and egg shakers.

We call these noise makers.

Our FREE Disney-ish weekend

I bought an above ground pool on Sunday and we had to drive to Orlando to pick it up, so I decided to stop at Downtown Disney and see what kind of fun we could have for free. Turns out, Disney has a few activities for kids to enjoy themselves. (not pictured playground and those water spouts that come out of the water).

Julian built a racecar and raced it at Lego Land track (it came in last place, but in my heart he was the winner ) :)

We visited the T-Rex restaurant (not to eat) and Julian excavted some dinosaurs!
He really had fun doing this once he got the idea.

After going back home and I was making dinner and Jules was getting a little bored, so I asked him if he wanted to make noisemakers. His ears perked up like a little doggie! He loved doing this craft and we are looking forward to hosting a playdate about music.

Of course, his favorite part was making music! He takes empty paint cans and says "Mama, lets be a band, one, two, three, four!" Its great to see the love of music in him.
