MOSI - Museum of Science and Industry
We took a trip today to Mosi.
It was very fun and we will be going back regularly to have fun and play.
We are still in Letter Mm week, so M is for Museum, magnifying, magnets, maze. All of which we did at Mosi.
Maze
We learned about the mechanics of wheels turning.
For lunch, we served Julian and A's head on a platter. LOL
Magnifying our hands was the funnest.
Very brave Julian lay on a bed of nails, so did A* but I didn't get a pic. :(
Weaving through another maze, a spiders web.
Touching a cloud
Playing with magnets in a game called the Mole Maze.

Lava Experiment
Today we are busy, busy, busy. NO TIME TO BE BORED!
Julian and A watched a couple of videos on YouTube of volcano's spewing Lava and their interest was peaked. So I decided to go forward with the science experiment. Thanks Brandy for the instructions.
So while A took a nap, Julian made the volcano part of it.
Before they poured the "lava" we talked about how when Lave is very hot it flows faster and when it is cold it flows very slowly. I demonstrated this by pouring hot and cold syrup onto an inclined plate. They guessed which one was flowing faster.
Between the two of them, they decided Jules would pour the lava......
The eruption of Mt. Hillside!! LOL. They both jumped up and cleared the table. They weren't expecting the eruption like that.
Then, they discussed what happened and how cool it was.
L is for Laterns
Today, we painted Laterns as our Ll craft. They did really good and it kept them occupied longer than I thought it would. They are real working laterns that can be hung up in their rooms and lit with batteries.
Today was also C's first day.
She is so sweet and such a fun baby.
C made her own latern and got her hands in a little pink paint.
Their finished product.
Messy Playdate
Our messy playdate consisted of edible items that the kids were given so they can feel the textures, sizes and even tastes of different things. Pasta, rice, wheat flour, powered sugar, couscous, coconut pudding & oats.

Baby Bunnies
Today my lawn guy mowed our lawn and then there was a heavy rainfall. Around 8:30 we went to the backyard and discovered 3 baby bunnies washed up on my back porch. We took them in and cleaned them up. In the morning we are taking them to Woodland Wonders in Auburndale and they will raise them. They are so adorable and I think they are only a day or two old.
